New Pictures

It's been a little while since we've posted any updates. The kids are changing so quickly. All three of them have really interesting personalities. It's a lot of fun to watch them grow.

Riley poses for a picture at Shea's. She got to see The Lion King.

Logan is a total carnivore. We normally order our wings hot so the kids won't want
to eat them all. It doesn't stop Logan anymore.

Ruby is getting so big and learning so many new things. She crawls really fast and
pulls herself up and stands at the furniture all the time. She gets into everything!

Goodbye Summer

Here are some more of our pictures from our first summer with Ruby.

Logan said he would "keep an eye" on Ruby.

Bobby Pin Anyone?

So Wednesday afternoon Logan swallowed a bobby pin :( Because of the worry of internal tearing Adam spent hours in the ER of Women and Children's Hospital. He's ok...though if he doesn't pass it by mid next week we have to go for more x-rays.

Ruby Ruby Ruby

Ruby rolled over at least twice before I caught it!

Wheres Logan?

The Kids destroyed the girls room :( Logan was hiding from me...I'd say he was doing a pretty good job! :)

Convention 2011

Here are some pictures from this year's District Convention. Riley and Logan were very well behaved and Ruby ended up being pretty cooperative too. We got a lot more out of the program than we thought possible with three little ones.

Here are the kids in the Hotel before the session. Logan is getting some breakfast.

Ruby was all smiles before the session Friday...then 10 minutes into the program she completely messed herself and me :( Thank goodness Aunt Shaunna was there with an extra dress for Rubes. I, on the other hand, had to go the whole day with baby poop on my skirt.

We used the Baby Bjorn a lot this weekend. We didn't even bring the stroller with us and I'm really glad. It would have been just another thing to keep track of.

Little Miss Ruby in the hotel room.

Note to self: Next year for Convention...stand up for a nice family photo! Oh well, at least we are all in it.

One more of the little stinker :)

And then she goes and makes up for yesterday.

So even after I posted that picture yesterday Ruby continued to cry :( It was really bad, like maybe the worst day yet. Adam took the other kids out and came home with Just Dance 2 which I have been wanting for a very long time, but more importantly with Mylicon. I was unsuccessful giving it to her yesterday, but I have it now and I'm going to try again tonight if she gets psycho fussy again.

But then she woke up this morning in such a good mood! She was a little fixated on the camera, every time I tried to catch her smile she got all stone faced and stared at it. This was my third attempt.

(I couldn't upload a video for some reason, sorry)

I guess shes worth it. ;)

Summertime

The nice weather doesn't last long in this area so we're going to try to take advantage of the sunshine with the kids and takes lots of pictures. Here are some that we've taken so far...

She fell fast asleep for hours afterward.

3 Days 'Til Due Date

Here's a picture of Cassie at 39-1/2 weeks pregnant. She's due on Sunday. Wouldn't it be a nice weekend to have a baby?

Here is Logan's cool new "trick". Don't worry, he's a very strong boy and he holds his weight up by pulling himself up on Daddy's arms.

Memorial outfits

The pictures aren't the greatest quality (they we're taken on a phone), but here are the kids wearing their new outfits for the Memorial.

Logan managed to get chocolate all over the suit and tie that same night. Everything must have been stain resistant though because it came out with no problems.

Riley saw a fox?!?

A few days ago on our way to the meeting, Riley saw something very exciting and this is the conversation that ensued...

Riley: "Guy's I just saw a FOX!!! I. Can't. Believe it!"

Mommy and Daddy: "Oh yeah?"

Riley: "Yeah I'm serious, I really did!!"

At this point I should mention that we live in the city of Buffalo, not in the country.

Riley: "It was back there on the porch of that house!"

Mommy and Daddy: "Wow!"

Riley: "But not the bottom porch, it was on the one on top. Except it wasn't a little fox, it was big. And it wasn't red, it was grey...wait...ohhh!!! Actually, I don't think it was a fox."

Some of our favorite pictures.

So much time has passed since I started this blog. I haven't posted updates as often as I would have liked. Our kids have certainly changed quite a bit, and we've been able to capture some really nice memories. Here are some of our favorites. (click on the picture to enlarge)

As we're hiking in the Adirondacks, Logan gets a craving for some Captain Morgan.

Riley hugs Daddy before she gets on the bus for her first day of school.

Logan loves dirt. Not so much being sprayed down with cold hose water.

We got a lot of nice pictures in the Adirondacks. Here's another...

Parker Dam, PA. Logan ain't scared o' no bears.

Logan enjoys playing in a pile of leaves that his parents
neglected to clean up until the spring.

At the Botanical Gardens in Buffalo.

Riley's first baseball game at Coca-Cola Field. She loved the popcorn and the cotton candy.
The baseball? Well she made it through 3 innings.

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but we have some pretty photogenic kids.

Okay, that should hold me for now. I'll try to be more diligent in posting updates. Adam said he'd help me do it. Especially with another little one coming, I'll try to post more pictures as well as cute stories and quotes. Riley has said some hilarious stuff lately. I'll tell you more later. Goodnight for now.

Starting Fresh!

Ok so it's been like two years since my last post...I'd like to try again. I'm newly obsessed with the blogging world (again), and want to have a place to document my family life. So...

Riley is 5 1/2 now! She started school this past September at a Charter School not too far from our house. I love her little uniform!

Logan is almost 2 1/2. He is all boy (except for when his sister dresses him up in tinker bell outfits) he climbs everything and runs everywhere. It is a miracle that he hasn't broken a bone yet!

Surprise surprise, we are now waiting for our new little baby girl. She will be arriving around May 8th 2011. We had no chance, there were like 14 babies due to families we know this spring, ours being the last.

So hopefully I will stick with it this time, for my own benefit! And maybe I can get my Jumbo Nerd husband back to his blog.
