Memorial outfits

The pictures aren't the greatest quality (they we're taken on a phone), but here are the kids wearing their new outfits for the Memorial.

Logan managed to get chocolate all over the suit and tie that same night. Everything must have been stain resistant though because it came out with no problems.

Riley saw a fox?!?

A few days ago on our way to the meeting, Riley saw something very exciting and this is the conversation that ensued...

Riley: "Guy's I just saw a FOX!!! I. Can't. Believe it!"

Mommy and Daddy: "Oh yeah?"

Riley: "Yeah I'm serious, I really did!!"

At this point I should mention that we live in the city of Buffalo, not in the country.

Riley: "It was back there on the porch of that house!"

Mommy and Daddy: "Wow!"

Riley: "But not the bottom porch, it was on the one on top. Except it wasn't a little fox, it was big. And it wasn't red, it was grey...wait...ohhh!!! Actually, I don't think it was a fox."

Some of our favorite pictures.

So much time has passed since I started this blog. I haven't posted updates as often as I would have liked. Our kids have certainly changed quite a bit, and we've been able to capture some really nice memories. Here are some of our favorites. (click on the picture to enlarge)

As we're hiking in the Adirondacks, Logan gets a craving for some Captain Morgan.

Riley hugs Daddy before she gets on the bus for her first day of school.

Logan loves dirt. Not so much being sprayed down with cold hose water.

We got a lot of nice pictures in the Adirondacks. Here's another...

Parker Dam, PA. Logan ain't scared o' no bears.

Logan enjoys playing in a pile of leaves that his parents
neglected to clean up until the spring.

At the Botanical Gardens in Buffalo.

Riley's first baseball game at Coca-Cola Field. She loved the popcorn and the cotton candy.
The baseball? Well she made it through 3 innings.

I don't want to sound like I'm bragging, but we have some pretty photogenic kids.

Okay, that should hold me for now. I'll try to be more diligent in posting updates. Adam said he'd help me do it. Especially with another little one coming, I'll try to post more pictures as well as cute stories and quotes. Riley has said some hilarious stuff lately. I'll tell you more later. Goodnight for now.

Starting Fresh!

Ok so it's been like two years since my last post...I'd like to try again. I'm newly obsessed with the blogging world (again), and want to have a place to document my family life. So...

Riley is 5 1/2 now! She started school this past September at a Charter School not too far from our house. I love her little uniform!

Logan is almost 2 1/2. He is all boy (except for when his sister dresses him up in tinker bell outfits) he climbs everything and runs everywhere. It is a miracle that he hasn't broken a bone yet!

Surprise surprise, we are now waiting for our new little baby girl. She will be arriving around May 8th 2011. We had no chance, there were like 14 babies due to families we know this spring, ours being the last.

So hopefully I will stick with it this time, for my own benefit! And maybe I can get my Jumbo Nerd husband back to his blog.
